Jesus came!!!

That's right, Jesus (and the other guy)... they took our stuff and shipped it away!
Embarrassing, yet funny story.
Monday morning the movers showed up. James greeted them and then I popped my head in the entry way to say "Hi". They proceed to introduce their selves as "Jesus" and "the other guy". I had a genuine Freudian slip... I laughed and looked at James and said, "Are you serious? Jesus?". As soon as I said it I realized that the guy was wearing a name tag and he was indeed NOT pulling a prank on me (James always pronounces Jesus like he's Mexican). I felt bad and apologized profusely!! Thankfully both guys were laughing and didn't mind.

So far, we're having a good moving experience!!! Other than its been in the high 90's and low 100's all week. Oh yeah, we don't have AC! UGH

Also, a change of plans happened Sunday night when I had an epiphany while sorting things. Instead of staying in our empty house until August 10th and James signing out of McChord on the 14th, we will be done next week!! We'll be having our house inspection on the 4th and signing out on the 5th. This weekend we will be getting my brother's car to use so we can ship our Caliber out. From the 5th to 13th we'll be in Spokane and from the 13th to the 17th we'll be in Oak Harbor. (We're still leaving on the 18th!)

Alright, I have to get back to cleaning! I will try to write updates as I can, but I've been so busy lately.

Totally Spellbound!!!

When we were in Spokane we had the opportunity of seeing Lacuna Coil (for the 2nd time- first time was right before I found out I was pregnant with Will). It was a great concert! (Other than a girl next to me scratching me with her CD, punching me when she tried to grab for a drumstick and her horrible singing voice.)
I was actually able to take pictures with MY camera!! Man did I get some great shots (we were right on the guard rail and could touch the stage). Here are some of the pictures :)
Also, James got to meet and get autographs from one of the opening bands (Seventh Void- kickass!!). It was a good night overall.

I've been slacking!

This has been a busy month! We spent the last week in Spokane visiting family (with little to no internet). During that time we saw both sets of my grandparents (Grandpa Mac and the Bryants) and my Crazy Gramma, plus my parents. When we got there we made it in the nick of time for Isaiah's birthday party at Sho-Gun grill. We were all exhausted and Will wasn't having the high chair! But, we did have a good time. We didn't get to spend much time with Isaiah due to an unexpected Guard calling.

It was really nice to have TWO date nights while we were there. With all of the tension between us, it was a much needed and welcome break. The funny part was both times we kept "looking" for Will and we missed his antics.

I am really scattered right now... but, I wanted to add one more thing.

Snoball didn't come back with us. He is staying with my parents. I never thought it'd be so hard to leave a "dog" behind. If he had passed away it'd be easier, but he's alive and doing good- without me. I know I need to have a different outlook, but he's been there for me through thick and thin for almost 10 years. Its not easy leaving someone behind knowing you can't take them with you. Death would be easier since you can say "good-bye" and know that's the end. Needless to say, I'm having a real hard time with all of this. I hate crying.

Its good to be home, but its empty without the pitterpatter of Snoball feet.
I gotta clean up a bit and make room for the new furniture set.

The 4th of July

We spent it at home this year for many reasons- like avoid crowds and it was in the 90's all day (and muggy). At some point during the day, James came up with the awesome idea to watch fireworks on our roof! So, he borrowed a latter from work and we did just that. Watching him climb up a latter like it was moving a pillow on a couch was misleading for someone that's afraid of heights. I was terrified, but I did it! To be perfectly honest, I'd much rather be in labor all over again than to climb down a latter! While up on the roof, we got to see fireworks all around us- from the Tacoma waterfront to Ft. Lewis and the surrounding areas. It was great. For safety reasons Will did not go up with us... he actually was in bed. Meanwhile, Snoball was freaking out big time! He calmed down once we were both back inside.
Other than that, we just relaxed this weekend. Well, we did find a buyer for the Rabbit!

Today, July 6th, is the grand opening of one of my all time favorite restaurants- Red Robin!! I've been watching them build it since February and now it is finally THE day! Yeah, yeah, yeah... I know, but if you've ever had a Whiskey River BBQ Chicken salad, you'd understand.
