The Balloon!

Lately, Will has developed an obsession for balloons. So, when we were out running errands yesterday he kept trying to grab them in Safeway. I found one that wasn't "Congrats Grad" or "Its a Girl" and he's beening totting it around up until this morning. He decided it was a good idea to try to beat me up while holding his balloon. I took it away and all hell broke loose! He had an all out temper tantrum! Oh boy, the terrible two's started months ago, but now in full swing- FUN. I did get pictures before he tried to take me down, ha ha ha.

Now, Will is a good kid 90% of the time! (It's the other 10% that makes me want to rip my uterus out and not want to EVER go thru this again! But, then he'll run over and give me a hug that makes me forget all about the naughtiness.)
I know, I know- pants too long and shirt too small!

On the move!

Oh! Almost forgot to say how sweet he was last night when my dad called me (err... us). I had the phone on speaker and told Will that his "Papa" was on the phone. From across the room he yelled, "Hi Papa!". Then walked over and whispered "Hi Papa" into the phone. When I asked him to talk to Papa he said, "Talk, talk, talk, buh, buh, buh!" and walked off.

As promised... Pictures!

Here are some pictures from the past weekend and a few from this week!
Wee!
I absolutely LOVE his eyes in this picture!
Visions of his teen years??

Possessed angel... love the lighting.

On the way home, we were stopped in traffic... this was the view.
Will "helping" with the grave clean up.
Two of my three brothers (Isaiah & Josh... Leevi is deployed), plus Will & James.
Reminds me of the movie "Walking Tall" that starred the Rock.
My favorite picture of these two
Emily was "fishing" for the bucket
Caught it!

Tymme (Time) is the most obsessed with water of ALL the dogs I've owned or bred!

Nice bump
Our travel companion since James and I started dating (3 yrs and going!). "Squiggy" has traveled all over the states with us- Hawaii, Minnesota, Whidbey Island, Oregon, Idaho, and Texas (I think).

Memorial Weekend

Thank you to ALL service members in our country! We spent the long weekend in Spokane with my friends and family. It was a nice break from everything that has gone on in the past month. I got to see childhood 4-H friends that I hadn't seen in 10 years! It was really good.

Will had a blast with his uncles, grandma (Bah), papa, and his soon-to-be aunite Megan. He managed to garner several bumps and bruises on his head and a few scrapes on his arms and legs. I'm pretty sure he wore everyone (except me) out!

James went to a Spokane Shock game (arena football) with my dad Saturday night. Early in the day we bought my parents a new bed for a price that could NOT be passed up- a pillow top Queen bed set for $299! (It is really, really comfy.) We totally surprised them when we pulled in their driveway with it strapped to the Caliber's roof rack :)

On Sunday we drove up to Rice to tend to the Bryant family grave sites. It was a nice drive and beautiful weather.
All in all, it was a busy weekend!

I will post pictures in the next day or two (I don't have enough patience for the uploading BS tonight).

Ruston Way

We had great weather this weekend! So, we decided to go to Ruston Way (Tacoma waterfront). It was beautiful, but packed with ALL kinds of people. We also, saw a Sea lion! That made my day.

"My" Mt. Rainier overlooks the sound.
We got to see the sunset on our walk back to the car.

Are we there yet???

Lately, things have been stressful in our lives... thankfully, Snoball is doing very good and Will is feeling better. Outside of that its been work and family related.

Anyways, I am getting more and more excited about moving to Guam. At the same time stressed! We are not looking forward to cleaning our house when we move out or packing. I still need to sell some things and decide if we'll take some bulky stuff. Just stuff like that.

On a funny note, Will has started "talking" more. One night we were all sitting on the couch (Will on my lap) and James asked Will something or said something to him. Will turned to him and said, "Wha da duece Dad?" (We were both shocked!)

Then on another occasion I had a conversation with him and told him he needed to start talking more and scream less. So, he grabbed my head and whispered in my ear, "Talk, talk, talk, talk..."

Another time (when James was TDY), he saw James on webcam and would point to him and say "Dad?" . Then he'd walk off to play. While he was playing with his toys he got up and yelled, "Dammit Dad!" and then sat back down. Guess I need to be careful what I say... oops, my bad.

He is such a character! He'll correct me (or James) if I try to trick him. I just love my stinky boy :)

Also, between better diet and more exercise I've lost 19lbs since March 17. Hoping for another 25-30lbs between now and when we move! I won't stop there... I have a lot more baby weight to lose and then some. Last thing I need is heart problems!

Quack, quack, waddle, waddle...

Ok, so I've seen too many kid shows with Will. Nonetheless I wanted to share these pictures. (I drove by myself since my feet hurt pretty bad... plus, I wanted to "sneak" around to get these pictures.)

(My favorite one!!)

I had to restrain myself from trying to pet them... sooo cute!

The resident Blue heron at Carter Lake.

Toys and their vacuum effect

I had to share this! Will has a habit of crawling on his toys... well, they seem to suck him in! Its happened several times, but only two of the times I've had my camera handy. :)

In his toy drum...

His wagon :)

When life gets you down...

Sometimes we get so wrapped up in life's problems that we forget to stop and enjoy the little things... In my case, I stop and enjoy the flowers! I absolutely love photography and how when I see the pictures I can feel the smells tickling my nose.

A lightened version of the original... one of my favorites!
One flower shy of the breast cancer ribbon
Reminds me of something out of Dr. Suess... not sure why.
Two lovers embracing each other.

Just hanging out.

Yes, I know a dandelion...
