Tropical paradise isn't all sunshine and flowers!
I'm sure that most of you are aware of the tropical storms headed our way today thru next week. Now, please don't worry! We'll be safe and have typhoon bars on all the windows, plus the typhoon shutters and our house is made out of cement. I think we're as safe as we can be. If you'd like to stay updated on our storms then I highly suggest wunderground.com.
Other than the weather we're pretty settled in to our house. We love it! The locals are loud people, but I honestly don't mind one bit. This past weekend I planted a Plumeria tree. Of course, it poured rain and of all days I decide to wear a dress, I plant a tree. I think the neighbors think I'm slightly nuts!
Anyways, Will is loving it here and loves the yard. Here are some pictures for your visual pleasure :)

The Battle of the "Wills"
Yes, there was pun intended on the title... Anyways, since the whole move started we had the hardest time having Will sit still to eat anywhere. It got really bad here that we avoid sit-down diners and did strictly take-out while in the hotel. I just got so sick of him screaming and throwing a fit because he go put in a high chair!
So, when we moved in we agreed to buy a high chair for him. While waiting for the movers, Will and I went the BX (Base Exchange) to get one! It was the best investment yet! The first day he tried being a booger butt, but I wasn't buying it. If he wanted to eat he had to sit in it- no more walking around and throwing it at me! It worked! Now, he'll come take me by the hand (when he's hungry) and lead me to his chair. He loves it!
And to top it all off, he's eating whatever I make for dinner- not just fries and nuggets (he even ate all of his rice!). Its so nice to see him be happy while eating and not have to fight with him to eat.

Home and everything that comes with it!
A week into our house and it is really looking like a home! I absolutely love it here and all the creatures that visit me. Its nice to the gecko family run around the car port ceiling and "Drazil" (our lizard friend... monitor lizard to be exact) poke out of the outdoor closet or top of the gate. If you get a chance at dinner time to peek out the front door you'll see all the boonie dogs come out of the jungle behind our house. Since we don't have any one of my dogs here (especially Snoball), I've taken a liking to seeing the boonies come around and tossed them some leftover pizza one night. As much as I like seeing dogs around our house, it just isn't the same without having one as part of our family.
Anyways, here are some pictures of our house (before the movers came) and my "friends" that visit/bless our home. I wish you all could see how tiny the baby geckos are- just the tiniest creatures!

This praying mantis just loved my chair and was as intrigued by me as I was by it.
So, graceful and fascinating!

Will speaks...
Tuesday morning, I had to take James to work and of course Will came along. On the drive to the new house to drop off some of our stuff Will spoke.
"Mama?!"
"Will Will!"
"No." (-Will)
"What?"
"Mama!!"
"Yes??"
"I wuv you!"
*I was in complete shock and even teared up.*
"I love you, too Will!"
"Mama"
"Will"
"Wuv you Ma"
That made my day and all the confusing/frustrating/embarrassing things seem like nothing.
